A Sip of Wine

North Georgia offers so many different wineries on the North Georgia Wine Trail! Just in a 10 miles radius there are over 8 wineries! Here is a highlight of some of our favorites... we chose these 3 because they are close to the cabin, offer excellent wine, tend to be more local (less crowded), and each offers something special to customers!

The Cottage Vineyard & Winery

The closet winery to Little Andy Mountain is The Cottage Winery & Vineyard located just 5 miles away! This amazing vineyard offers 360 degree views of Mountain Ranges, wines are made on the property, they offer cheese trays & have local craft beer. You are welcome to bring your own food, purchase a charcuterie board, or purchase food from one of their food trucks that come several weekends a month. This family & pet friendly (leashed) winery has a super chill ambiance and offer live music on weekends. They also offer Jesus & Jeans religious worship every Sunday morning. Voted as one of the top 25 wineries in in US, they have 15 different wines to choose from from dry whites and red as well as multiple sweet wines. They offer reservations for groups of 4 or more for tastings. Flights of 4 are $12 per person & flights of 6 are $15 per person. My personal favorites are the Cabernet Sauvignon or Chardonnay. They also have a swing, cornhole, jenga and more!

  Clyde's Food Truck (yes preggo, no I didn't drink ;) )

CeNita Winery

Probably the most family friendly winery!! Located approx 9 miles from Little Andy Mountain, this winery has swings, a play set, hammocks, a firepit, cornhole & more. They offer finger foods such as chips & salsa, hummus & cheese trays. Enjoy beautiful views of the rolling 3 acres of grape vines, the red barn wedding venue & mountain in the distance. Tastings start at $9 for 4 & $13 for 6. They also serve craft beer! My favorite is their slushies (especially during the summer)!!

Serenity Cellars

Also located 9 miles from Little Andy Mountain, Serenity Cellars is a boutique winery that offers wine on the weekends! The best part of this winery is Friday Nights! On Friday nights, they do not offer tastings only glasses and bottles but have live music from 6-9. You can order food ahead of time from Sheilah's Village Market till 3pm on Fridays and it will be delivered at 6:30. They have 8 different wines to choose from, 2 white, 3 red, 1 rose, and 2 dessert wines. My personal faves are Biano Bello & Harmony!

*Note that most wineries tend to close early at 5 or 6pm with the exception of Serenity Cellars on Fridays.
