Don't let a little rain ruin your day... if staying in the cabin doesn't sound like fun, here are a few fun places to adventure out and visit if the weather isn't cooperating!
Alpine Slot Cars
Located in downtown Helen is a hidden gem! Featuring the largest 1/32 scale slot car road course in the US, this attractions brings fun for the entire family! They have both beginner and experienced level cars and 2 tracks (more coming)! My son begs every time we are in Helen if we can go! It is an inexpensive adventure that everyone can partake in. The short track is more difficult (at least to me) since it has more turns so you have to adjust speed more often. The longer track has more long stretches where you can go full speed. To be honest, I wasn't very excited as I was unsure what we were walking into the first time... WELL IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I can't even tell you the amount of times we have gone back- even without the kids!
Alpine Fun Factory
Alpine Fun Factory has something fun for everyone! This HUGE indoor factory has an array of activities that will keep you busy for the day! Start your morning off with alpine speed indoor karting going over 30 miles per hour on a 600 ft track (they have double karts too for the young ones) then test your aim at laser tag! Well it's called Laser Tag but I have never played laser tag like this... based off the popular game Halo, you can play troopers vs marines or go rogue for a free for all match while picking your own weapons and armor! If you still are in the need of some entertainment, head over to the arcade or giant 10,000 sq ft bounce zone! Bounce zone features slides, jump houses, obstacle courses but they also have a sports complex & boxing ring.
